For the next year kids

My advice would be to od the vocab and look over the near pods for psychologists and extra facts My favorite activity was the parts of the brain it was really fun assembling them and eating them after  I think you could leave out where the brain parts are located specifically (the diagram we drew of the brain) I think they need to just know the relative position. I think you could do more group projects and teach more in-depth about each psychologist cause I think that will help understand the psychologist and their significance.

Freud meme: Freued's school of thought was blaming mothers for how a person turned out. He thought if something was wrong with you it was because your mom didn't do enough or she did something wrong. https://imgflip.com/i/7kilyd Learned helplessness meme: someone with learned helplessness typically feels like no matter what they do they'll fail so they never try again. So someone with learned helplessness will feel never attempt to do something ever again after failing and feeling hopeless.  https://imgflip.com/i/7kingr Hippocampus/memory meme:  Our hippocampus is in charge of memory. Most high school students study at last minute this most likely upsets and put a strain on our hippocampus https://imgflip.com/i/7kioxo Diffusion of responsibility meme:  with the diffusion of responsibility, we assume someone else will do it since there are so many people. in this scenario, he is drinking tea and ignoring the dying person  https://imgflip.com/i/7kipqb extrinsic m...

For the short term memory test I  had a 7/12 this test was fairly accurate   since   I  have a very poor short term memory. Memory for faces I  got a 8/10 this test I  think this test was pretty accurate   I  did it a second time and got the same results so this test was accurate because   I  am very good with faces. the last test I did was the memory test for everyday objects and the coin tests was bad. I wasn't able to guess the right coin until the very end. I think this test is accurate because I am a person who cannot remember exact details rather I can remember the general attributes of the object. The formation of memories in the hippocampus area of the brain is a complicated process. It depends on the perfect synchronization of interactions between neurons, neurotransmitters, receptors, and enzymes.  A complex biochemical mechanism involving...

Social Psych in school

an example of compliance would be if a student were to request aid from a fellow classmate. This is an example of compliance because you are doing something at the request of another person. In this instance the student asked the other to help them, complying with the order.   an example of obedience would be obeying a teachers rules and commands. This is an example of obedience because it is a request that must be followed because the figure giving the request has authority. In this instance the student is obeying the teacher because she is an authority figure.  an example of social facilitation is when you preform better when in front of the class compared to working alone. This is an example of social facilitation is when you preform better because you are afraid of embarrassing yourself in front of the group or it increase your excitement. In this instance the classmates who watch the student present influences the presenter and helps him present better.  an exam...

There hasn't been much research specifically looking at whether music enhances the quality of sleep, but potential reasons include relaxing, diversion from negative thoughts, and masking distracting background noise. It's important to remember that the majority of this research involves people's self-reported sleep. Each morning, participants are in a randomized crossover experiment, and they are required to answer questions regarding their previous night's sleep. Even though this gives us important information about people's perception of their music and is related to many significant outcomes, we can't conclude that music has any actual influence. There are too many other factors that play into whether someone had a good night of rest, like how much deep sleep participants got or how restless they were during the night, which have been linked to physical and mental health. Studies show that music with legato (as opposed to staccato) articulation, moderate to m...

Our beliefs and past experiences can influence what we see, leading to fill-in images of things not present. Research shows we may place more trust in these made-up visual images than we do in images of things present in reality. Belief influences our visual perceptions, leading to eyewitness claims of extraordinary and unlikely phenomena. UFO believers are more likely to see an alien spaceship in detail than those who do not. Humans experience the world with a delay of hundreds of milliseconds, allowing them to estimate the speed and path of objects in motion and project projected or expected images of where they will be.  This article is very interesting to me; after reading it, it explained a lot and taught me new things. The points brought up in this essay have explained a lot of phenomena in the world. like how we let our beliefs influence what we see, which is why we perceive things differently from our peers. It also explains why we are prone to see things we want to s...

Parietal lobe and substance p  My birthday is November 25th so my superhero is PainSeeker. When PainSeeker was young, his powers were never active. PainSeeker was bullied as a child and has always resented bullies and people who step on the weak. One day he was pushed to his limit, and he awakened his power. His parietal lobe began growing and his body began to produce a lot of substance p. His parietal lobe was so huge he gained the ability to be more in contact his emotions and others as well. He is also able to send or take away substance p to other people and make them feel more or less sensitive to pain . With his newfound powers he goes around seeing who's in pain and tries to take it away. He also goes around the city seeing who is getting bullied and begins giving the bullies more substance p, so they could feel the pain they put through others.
