an example of compliance would be if a student were to request aid from a fellow classmate. This is an example of compliance because you are doing something at the request of another person. In this instance the student asked the other to help them, complying with the order. an example of obedience would be obeying a teachers rules and commands. This is an example of obedience because it is a request that must be followed because the figure giving the request has authority. In this instance the student is obeying the teacher because she is an authority figure. an example of social facilitation is when you preform better when in front of the class compared to working alone. This is an example of social facilitation is when you preform better because you are afraid of embarrassing yourself in front of the group or it increase your excitement. In this instance the classmates who watch the student present influences the presenter and helps him present better.
an example of group polarization is when a student thinks that another student is an ok person, but when discussing this student with a group, the group talks about all the positive characteristics of the student causing the group to really like the student. This is an example of group polarization because group polarization is the tendency to have a group shift to extreme views and decisions compared to being alone. an example of reciprocity norm is when you feel like you need to help them study when they previously helped you study for a different subject. This is an example of reciprocity norm because reciprocity norm is when you feel obligated to return a favorer after someone asks you to do something
